I believe local government is where decisions are made that have the most direct impact on our daily lives. Those decisions determine whether you will see the sun setting on fields of hay and grazing livestock or sprawling housing developments as you drive through the county. They will make the difference between having a community prepared for the changes on the horizon, or one that struggles with new challenges at the last minute. Regardless of the issue, I believe it is critical to have input from all members of the community. We have a wealth of experience in Okanogan County, with many families who have been here for generations, caring for the land and working hard to preserve our rural traditions. We also have new residents moving in, some of whom have experience using new tools to evaluate our natural world. The thing we have in common is that we all love this place and want to preserve what is best about it.

I believe that if we bring our traditional experience and growing knowledge together to work toward our common goal, the result will be policies and decisions that have wide support and lead us into the best possible future.

That is why part of my campaign is called 1,000 Voices. I want to hear from you! I want to know what you care about, what concerns you, and what’s on your mind. Please take a moment to make your voice heard by filling out the survey below.
